Okari Holdings LTD (“Find Justice”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for any personal information you give us through this site. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and your rights under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
1. What we collect
We only collect information you give us through the form. That is:
- Your name - first and last, so a solicitor can address you when they call.
- Your contact details - mobile number and (optionally) email address, so a solicitor can actually reach you. We require a phone number because the partner firms call or text first; email is optional and, if given, used only as a fallback.
- Your description of what happened - the free-text you type into the hero search and into the “anything else” box, plus your answers to the structured questions in the form. This is the substance of the matter a solicitor will look at, so please only include what you are comfortable sharing.
- Your rough budget / fee preference - including whether you are looking for a no-win no-fee arrangement.
- Consent metadata - when you tick the “I agree to the Terms” checkbox we record the timestamp, your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string. We keep this as evidence that you consented; we do not use it for tracking or analytics.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers or behavioural cookies. The site sets no cookies by default. The only network requests the page makes beyond our own server are for the fonts you see - and those are now also hosted on our own server.
2. Why we collect it
The lawful basis is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) - you give us this information so we can pass it to a vetted solicitor and the solicitor can decide whether to take your case. You can withdraw consent at any time (see “Your rights” below).
We also have a legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) in keeping a record of the consent metadata described above, so we can demonstrate that an enquiry was submitted properly if there is ever a dispute about it.
3. Who we share it with
- Panel solicitors. The whole point of submitting the form is for a solicitor to see it. We pass your details to one or more solicitors on our panel who cover the kind of dispute you have described. Each of those firms is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and has its own data protection notice.
- Technical providers. Our website is served by Cloudflare and our database is hosted on standard infrastructure providers within the UK / EU. We do not share enquiry content with any other third party.
We do not sell your data. We do not pass it to anyone for advertising or marketing purposes.
4. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for six years from the date you submit the form. That matches the standard UK limitation period for most civil claims (Limitation Act 1980), so the record is available if there is any later dispute about the matter you brought to us. After six years we delete the record.
You can ask us to delete it sooner - see below.
5. Where it’s stored
Your data is stored on servers located within the United Kingdom and / or the European Economic Area. We do not transfer your personal data outside the UK / EEA.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Rectify it if it is inaccurate;
- Erase it (“right to be forgotten”), subject to legal exceptions;
- Restrict or object to our processing;
- Receive a copy in a portable format;
- Withdraw consent at any time - that will not affect anything done before you withdraw, and a solicitor you have already been introduced to will have their own retention obligations.
To exercise any of these rights, email admin@okari.ai. We aim to respond within thirty days.
7. Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. If you are not happy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
8. Changes
The version of this policy in force is the one published on this page on the date you submit the form. The “last reviewed” date at the top tells you when it was last changed.
